Celtic’s youth side face Hibs tomorrow knowing that a win could send them to the top of the table.

Stevie Frail’s side take on Hibs looking for their sixth consecutive win of the campaign knowing that a draw between Hearts and Aberdeen would put Celtic on top despite playing three games less than both clubs.

With 14 goals scored against Kilmarnock and Dundee in their last two outings the young hoops won’t be short on confidence with Frail looking to keep that momentum going.

He said: “Everything has been going well so far this season but Hibs will be difficult opponents and will be expecting to win their home matches.

“They had a big win against Brora Rangers last weekend in the SFA Youth Cup and that will give them confidence for this match.

“We showed a lot of improvement in the second half against Dundee last week and we want to improve in every match.

“There were a few changes to the team last week and I’ve not decided on who’ll be playing against Hibs.

“We missed a couple of matches recently but it seems like the players have picked up where they left off and have played well as well as winning matches.

“We’re looking forward to the match tomorrow, it’s another opportunity for the players to prove themselves and build on the start that they’ve had to the campaign.”

Rangers, who Celtic face on Tuesday, were held to a 0-0 draw by St Johnstone today at Murray Park.

In the fourth round draw of the SFA Youth Cup made today at Hampden Celtic were drawn at home to Airdrie United.
