Celtic’s youth side lost their 100% Glasgow Cup record to Queens Park tonight.

A last minute wonder goal gave the Spiders a point in the round robin set up after Darnell Fisher had opened the scoring in the first half.

After beating Partick Thistle, Rangers and Clyde in the competition youth coach Tommy McIntyre was disappointed but not despondent after tonight’s draw.

He said: “We played really well until the last 20 minutes and that’s a disappointment.

“We lost a bit of discipline and that’s something for the boys to learn from and work on.

“It can be hard to play against a team that sits back and is happy to play on the counter attack but that’s part of the game and increasingly you see it at all levels.

“At this level you are always going to get mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them and not repeat them.

“Queens Park always give you a good game and have got a strong set up throughout the younger age groups.

“Our boys are disappointed, the equaliser was in the last minute and when that happens there’s no way back.”
