Derby date put back 24 hours by Europa League

|

The third Glasgow derby of the season has been put back 24 hours to accommodate Rangers’ Europa League hopes.

Celtic will host Rangers on Sunday February 20 with a 12.30 kick off with the match falling between the first two legs of the last 32 ties in the Europa League.

That match is one of four Celtic games that have been switched for television coverage in the new year.

The week before the derby fixture Celtic will be at Tannadice on Sunday February 13 with a 12 noon kick off- returning to the scene of the infamous Dougie-Dougie incident.

Another Sunday switch will take the weekend following the Rangers match when Celtic travel to Motherwell on February 27 with a 12.45 kick off for Sky Sports.

The final rescheduled match is on Wednesday March 2 when Celtic travel to Kilmarnock for a 7.45 kick-off with the original fixture postponed due to the Celtic-Aberdeen Co-Operative Cup Semi Final taking priority.

No new dates have been announced for the postponed fixtures with Aberdeen and Kilmarnock.
