Lost Bhoys get a glimpse into Celtic's on-line future
In less than 18 months Lost Bhoys has made a great impact on the fast growing on-line Celtic community with the enthusiasm of Chris and the team shining through in even the darkest moments.
In his 45 minute interview Chris asked Hamilton the questions that most Celtic supporters would like answered as the club enters the new year with a new look website and dipping their toes into social media through Twitter and Facebook.
The overwhelming feeling from the interview is that the club wishes to produce content to compliment the impressive on-line supporter culture that Lost Bhoys is a great example of.
“I find it helpful at times and also quite frustrating,” Hamilton answered when asked about the clubs take on supporter websites, podcasts and message boards.
“It’s frustrating when I see people automatically believing things that I know not to be true.
“It certainly has it’s place, I don’t think that we want to have a monopoly on Celtic media by any stretch of the imagination. I think that is one of the things that sets us apart- the fact that we have so many unofficial websites and fans forums.
“Generally it’s positive because people are talking about Celtic, that’s my personal opinion. What differentiates you (unofficial/supporter) websites is that you can be more liberal, we’ve got very stringent policies about what we can comment on.
“We wouldn’t comment on speculation while the whole speculation thing- whose coming, whose going- that type of thing is of great interest to supporters but that’s a thin line that we don’t go over.”
Chris chipped in with: “The way that I would put it is we can talk about a lot of the things that you might be thinking about but can’t talk about!”

The full range of Celtic media matters are covered from Channel 67, Celtic You Tube channel, iPhone applications and catering for the growing number of mac users.
Hamilton explains why Ireland is excluded from live Channel 67 transmissions which is due to the territory defined by Sky and ESPN which covers the UK and Ireland as one territory.
The complex and growing issue of piracy is dealt is dealt with with Hamilton well aware that pirate streams are available on-line.
