Marc Crosas linked to Volga transfer

Marc Crosas Celtic news

Marc Crosas is reportedly on the brink of a £300,000 move to FC Volga.

The Russian season doesn’t start till March which allows their clubs to buy players outside the transfer window.

Crosas has become a twitter favourite of the Celtic support but despite the speculation of a transfer has made no comment about the move on his twitter account.

It has been business as usual for the Bishop of Twitter who has been chatting away in Spanish without any mention of a move to Russia.

The Volga club website hasn’t commented on a transfer although it does give details of a visit from Vladimir Romanov the owner of Hearts.

Romanov is described as Lithuania’s most famous businessman and is in  to discuss business and footballing links.

Crosas was signed by Gordon Strachan for £800,000 from Barcelona three years ago but failed to establish himself at Celtic.

Neil Lennon’s signings of Biram Kayal, Efrain Juarez and Joe Ledley have pushed Crosas further down the pecking order with the popular Catalan making just three substitute appearances this season.

Stay tuned to the Crosas twitter account for any developments on the story.
