The Bishop of Twitter, Marc Crosas, led the on-line praise of Scott Brown after today’s 2-2 Scottish Cup thriller.
Brown scored the 64th minute equaliser that kept Celtic in the Scottish Cup in front of an ecstatic Broomloan Road stand.
Crosas was relegated to a seat in the stand but that didn’t dilute his pleasure from the result.
“Great performance once again!” he tweeted. “The bhoys were brilliant and i think we deserved a lot more than just a draw!hail hail”
Crosas added: “Everyone was brilliant!!but special mention for our CAPTAIN!Scott Brown.”
Joe Ledley set up Kris Commons for Celtic’s opener and was almost as happy to find out that Cardiff had won at Swansea in the South Wales derby.
Like his passing Ledley keeps his tweets nice and crisp- after the match he noted: “That’s how you play football!!! “ before adding: “Great result for us bhoys and Cardiff!
A second half booking after getting involved in a scuffle with Dabie Weir rules Ledley out of the replay with the Celtic midfielder puzzled by the man-of-the-match award: “How the hell did weir get MOM??”
Over in Denmark Jos Hooiveld made sure that he didn’t miss out on any of the drama from Ibrox.
He tweeted: “What a game, celtic machine is starting!! “ followed by: “Cmon lukas!! You’re the man! Do it! “… just as Steb Whittaker put Rangers back in front.
One glorious strike from Brown later brought Hooiveld praise: “What a goal! Even with ten we’re dominating. Yellow card?? “ and : “Yes!!!!! Finally justice! “
Five minutes from time and with Charlie Mulgrew poised over a free-kick Hooiveld tweeted: “Charly is gonna do it!! “ before adding on the final whistle: “7 old firms this year.. Love it! “
Ki Sung Yeung was fairly prolific after the match but his only English tweet said: “I m proud of all the boys who played today …brilliant performance !!!”

As usual before the game I asked Henrik for a prediction ( tweet for Celtic goals…twat for their goals)….and was disappointed to hear two tweets and two twats……but at least he got it right….I always put a sizeable bet on his predictions….and as a result …we’re leaving shortly for Barbados….
