Paddy McCourt returns to action

Paddy McCourt Celtic news

Paddy McCourt is back in the Celtic squad to face Hamilton Accies today.

The fans favourite has missed the last two matches due to an ankle injury but is expected to be on the bench today for the visit of bottom of the table Hamilton.

Neil Lennon will be able to recall Fraser Forster and Joe Ledley from suspension which will lead to an interesting choice to make in midfield.

Ki Sung-Yeung and Biram Kayal were outstanding in the 1-0 win over Rangers in the Scottish Cup with both players keeping their discipline to avoid picking up a booking.

Lennon has generally preferred to stick with the players in possession regardless of circumstances which could see Ledley on the bench despite his commanding performances since the turn of the year.

After three demanding fixtures against Rangers in less than a month the Celtic boss may be tempted to freshen things up today and make full use of his squad.

At 1/7 the bookies aren’t expecting anything other than a comfortable home which will be exactly what Lennon will be looking for from his players.

Those odds won’t have punters stampeding their way to their on-line accounts but the bet365 offer gives Video Celts readers a quick way of making some extra cash.

Opening an account with £10 and putting it on a home win today will bring an email with a code to double your deposit up to £20 which can also be put on Celtic to win today.

From that £10 deposit you then have £20 on Celtic to beat Hamilton which would increase your account upto £22.86 from that £10 deposit.

I fancy Celtic to strike early which makes the half-time/full-time odds on Celtic winning at 4/9 much more attractive.

Clicking on the bet365 link below and after opening a £10 account will be followed by an email and code allowing you to double your deposit.

Putting your £10 on Celtic to be winning at half-time and full-time and doing the same with your bonus code will put your account upto £28.89 from that £10 deposit.

Celtic did draw away to Hamilton in January but that match was refereed by Willie Collum, in October Lenny’s bhoys won 3-1 and I’d expect something similar today before the squad fly out to Donegal for tomorrow’s match with Finn Harps.
