Supporters of St Pauli have sent a message of support to Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

The Hamburg based club have strong ties with Celtic fans and unfurled a banner of support on Sunday at their match with Stuttgart.

A simple message of ‘NEIL LENNON>>YNWA!!!’ was unfurled behind one of the goals at their atmospheric Millerntor Stadion.

St Pauli fans started following Celtic in the early 90s with their distinctive skull and crossbones emblem available on carious items on sale at the Celtic Superstore.

In May Celtic travelled to Hamburg and beat St Pauli 2-0 in an end of season friendly with Paddy McCourt and Morten Rasmussen on target for the visitors.
