Celtic’s Scottish Cup quarter final with Inverness was called off this morning after an 8am inspection.
The match has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 16 and will be screened live on Sky Sports.
The pitch at the Tulloch Calledonian Stadium was waterlogged after continued overnight rain with the forecast for more rain throughout the day.
Celtic were scheduled to play Hibs on Wednesday but that match has now been postponed with the Scottish Cup tie taking priority.
According to the Inverness Caley Thistle website any supporter with a ticket who is unable to attend on Wednesday can claim a refund by 1pm on Wednesday.
On the plus side the postponement does give Gary Hooper extra time to be fit after missing out on last Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Hamilton Accies.
