Aberdeen test for Celtic youth side

Steve Frail Celtic newsCeltic’s u-19 side face Aberdeen today knowing that a win will take them to the top of the table.

Stevie Frail’s side are currently three points behind Rangers but are eleven goals better off in terms of goal difference.

On Saturday Celtic beat St Mirren 5-0 on the back of their 4-1 win away to Dundee United the previous week.

With just 22 matches in the league campaign it looks like the Rangers-Celtic match on April 14 will have a major bearing on who wins the title but neither side can afford to look that far ahead.

On Saturday Celtic travel to meet Kilmarnock at the Kilwinning Sports Centre with Rangers hosting Aberdeen at Murray Park the previous day.

Celtic will continue catching up on their fixture backlog next Tuesday when Hearts, currently sitting in third place, are the visitors.
