Youth Cup Final date announced

Celtic will defend the SFA Youth Cup against Rangers at Hampden on Wednesday April 27, kick-off 7.30pm.

The match is a repeat of last season’s final when goals from substitute’s Sean Fitzharris and Filip Twardzik completed the double for Celtic.

Stevie Frail’s side beat Livingston 3-0 on Sunday to reach the final with Twardzik again on target as well as a double from James Keatings.

Celtic’s u-17 side will be in action tomorrow night against Queens Park at Lesser Hampden in the Glasgow Cup.

At the same time seven Celtic players are in the 18 strong Scotland schoolboy side that plays England at Morecambe in the Victory Shield which will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Lewis Kidd will captain the Scotland team after recently returning from u-17 international duty in Italy where Scotland lost out to the Czech Republic in their bid to reach the finals of the European Championships.
