Joe Ledley Celtic newsCeltic midfielder Joe Ledley could be out of action for the rest of the season after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring strain.

The Welshman was a surprise starter in the Celtic side to face Rangers after missing the midweek win over Kilmarnock through injury.

“The hammy ain’t looking good,” he admitted on twitter. “Hopefully have a scan tomorrow. Good team performance today.”

Fellow Celtic tweeter Marc Crosas watched the match from Russia and after defending Georgios Samaras’ penalty miss remains confident that his old club can win the SPL title.

The Catalan said: “It’s about confidence!not everyone would take a pen at ibrox!fair play to him!title is in our hands!

“I see everyone knows how to hit penalties nowadays! c’mon#celtictweep! unbeaten at Ibrox and the league still on our hands!hail hail.”
