Rangers title test for youth bhoys

|

Steve Frail Celtic newsCeltic’s youth side face their toughest test of this season this morning against Rangers at Murray Park.

An 11am kick-off will test their title credentials with three teams challenging for the title.

Celtic moved three points ahead of Rangers thanks to Saturday’s 3-2 win over Hamilton but trail leaders Hearts by four points although Stevie Frail’s side have three games in hand over the jambos.

The Edinburgh side have have two games left to play, at home to Rangers and away to Celtic, but the target for the Celtic players is a simple one- keep winning

“It’s an exciting stage of the season and each game is very important,” Frail admitted. “Every game holds it’s own importance and after beating Hamilton all of our focus is on playing Rangers.

“We respect Rangers in the same way as we respect every team we play and are looking forward to the match.

“A game against Rangers brings different demands and we won at Murray Park last season in similar circumstances.

“The players showed character to get the win over Hamilton and a few of them have been over the course before and know what’s needed to win prizes.”
