Liverpool challenge for the Hong Kong bhoys

Coach Danny McGrain is in charge of a very youthful side at the annual International Soccer Sevens.

Australian duo Jackson Irvine and Nick Feely are included in the squad on route home for a summer break along with Paul George, Bahrudin Atajic, Greig Spence, Liam Gormley, Marcus Fraser, John Herron, Joe Chalmers and recent signing Rhys Williamson

Celtic have been drawn in Group A alongside Liverpool, Hong Kong u-18’s and a Yau Yee League Select who they meet in the first match at 15.31 local time on Saturday.

Among the other sides taking part in the 16 team event are Boca Juniors, Rangers and Ajax.

The top two teams in each group progress into the knock-out quarter finals with the bottom side’s playing off in the plate event.
