Evander Sno Genoa newsGenoa have pulled out of the deal to sign Evander Sno.

After passing the initial medical a more detailed scan of the 24-year-old has caused problems with the Serie A side reluctantly calling off the deal

“Unfortunately, it is not positive news about his medical,” Genoa President Enrico Preziosi said.

“There are rules in Italy that won’t allow him to play, while he could do in Holland with his problems.

“There are a few issues with the first set of results and therefore it is probable that we won’t be able to register him.”

Sno suffered a heart-attack during an Ajax reserve match in September 2010 but was back on the training ground before the turn of the year.

The former Celtic midfielder’s contract with Ajax ended in June and it’s likely that he’ll have to go back to Holland if he wishes to continue his career.

Thats quite sad, but his health is more important. There was times at Celtic he looked a good player. All the best Evander!!!
