Europa League Celtic newsGoalkeeper Colin Doyle was the happiest Birmingham player as Chris Hughton’s side came from behind to beat Slovenian giants Maribor 2-1.

Half an hour into last night’s match the Birmingham keeper took a fresh air swipe at the ball in front of his own goal leaving Dalibor Volas almost embaraced as he rolled the ball into the empty net.

Fortunately for the keeper Chris Burke and Wade Elliot scored in the second half to earn the English side their first points in the tournament.

Birmingham now face Club Brugge in their next match with the Belgian side sitting at the top of Group H having won away to Sporting Braga on Thursday.
