Stade Rennes slipped to a 1-0 defeat away to Toulouse on Saturday ahead of their Europa League visit to Celtic.
Etienne Didot scored the only goal of the game in the 27th minute allowing Toulouse to edge a point ahead of Stade Rennes into fifth place in the table.

Elsewhere in Serie A Artur Boruc kept a clean sheet as Fiorentina beat Palermo 1-0 at home.
Fiorentina are sitting in tenth place, five points behind Juventus and have lost only eight goals in nine games this season.
