On Sunday the Danish striker came off the bench after an hour of the home match again Gençlerbirli?i as Sivasspor were held to a 1-1 draw, leaving them in 11th place after 11 games in the 18 club Turkish Super Lig.

In Spain Efrain Juarez is faring better with Real Zaragoza although they lost out 4-0 away to Barcelona on Saturday night.

Juarez has played in all but 30 minutes of Zaragoza’s La Liga campaign although his new club are lurking in fourth bottom place just a point above Real Sociedad, Granada and Racing Santander.

In The Championship Jos Hooiveld continues to set the standard for the loan Celts with Southampton opening up a five point lead over West Ham at the top of the table.

On Saturday Saints extended their 100% home record with a 3-0 win over Brighton with Hooiveld continuing to impress boss Nigel Adkins.

At Elland Road Darren O’Dea seems to be making his mark after two previous loans in The Championship.

On Saturday he was at the heart of the Leeds defence as Simon Grayson’s side won 2-1 at Burnley with former Livingston striker Robert Snodgrass scoring both goals.

Elsewhere in the division Josh Thompson and Daryl Murphy remain out of the picture at Peterboro and Ipswich with Thompson yet to make an appearance for Darren Ferguson’s side.

Down a division in League One Niall McGinn was substituted after 71 minutes of Brentford’s 1-0 defeat from Charlton that leaves Uwe Rosler’s side in ninth place after a promising start to the season.

In the SPL Richie Towell appeared as a half time substitute in Hibs’ 1-1 home draw with Kilmarnock.
