Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic are in talks with Nigerian midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim.
The 20-year-old started his career at Sporting Lisbon and was released last week by PSV Eindhoven a year into a three year contract and is attracting interest from a number of Premiership sides.
Celtic were linked with Ibrahim a year ago but were unable to take things further due to work permit issues.

Whether that difficulty has been resolved remains unclear but after beating Peterhead 3-0 yesterday Lennon spoke of his interest in the player.
The Celtic boss said: “We have him in for a few days on trial and he will train this week. He has had a decent career.
“He trained yesterday and looked quite handy. He is here with us until Wednesday or Thursday.”

Seems skillful enough but at 5’7 I doubt he would make it here as a central midfielder….more like a tricky winger if he has some pace.
Been around a bit already which would suggest attitude problems maybe…but worth a look, perhaps he has realised he needs to knuckle down and work for the team.
I’m always wary about “rejects”…
why was he released ??….
We’ll have to trust Lenny on this one…
But some of our approaches…leave me wondering.
