Twardzik double beats Fleetwood Town

Filip Twardzik scored twice tonight as a Celtic Development side won 3-2 away to Fleetwood Town.

Neil Lennon and Alan Thompson were at the match as the hoops boss took a look at three trialists during the game.

Callum McGregor put Celtic in front after three minutes but the homeside equalised before the break.

Twardzik scored twice in the second half either side of a Junior Brown goal for Fleetwood with former Celt Matty Hughes, currently on loan at Colwyn Bay, playing for the home side.

After the match Lennon tweeted: “On way back from development team game. Kids won 3 2 against an experienced Fleetwood team.”

Earlier today Lewis Toshney and James Keatings completed their loan moves to Kilmarnock and St Johnstone.
