Gary Hooper and Adam Matthews were both substituted during the second half with the hoops boss likely to rest both players in Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie at Peterhead.
Neither injury is likely to provide a long term problem but after a catalogue of injury problems in the first half of the season Lennon will be hoping for better luck as his side prepare to battle for three trophies.
“Gary Hooper was feeling his groin before the game and Adam Matthews is feeling his thigh,” the Celtic boss explained at East End Park.
“We have a strong squad, but we will not take the game lightly because this is going to be Peterhead’s cup final.”
Peterhead warmed up for the match with a 3-0 home win over Elgin City but they remain second bottom of the Third Division four points ahead of East Stirling.
