Lennon takes a new shine to Edinburgh!

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is falling in love with Edinburgh!

Less than a year ago the Celtic boss was attacked at Tynecastle but back-to-back wins on either side of Princes Street has helped the Irishman to look at the capital in a fresh light.

As the travelling support partied up to another five star show Lennon was able to stand back and admire his side’s demolition job on Hibs.

Strikers Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper did the first half damage with Charlie Mulgrew, Hooper and sub Ki-Sung Yeung completing the rout after the break.

Celtic moved into a commanding 17 point lead over Rangers with the win but it was the style of the showing that pleased Lennon most.

“I’m lost for words with this team at the minute,” the Celtic boss told Sky Sports “They are doing everything right.

“Their application is superb, their approach to the game was magnificent. Once we got a foothold in the game it was as good as we’ve played for a while.

“Edinburgh seems to have become a good place to come over the last few weeks.

“For tempo and quality that performance was up there with the Hearts game. With everything else going on there could have been a major distraction for the players.

“They’ve shown today that they have the bit between their teeth.
