Celtic fans huddle in Glasgow Central Station

Celtic fans certainly went to town yesterday to celebrate their side’s title win with huddles cropping up in various points between Rugby Park and Paradise.

Hoops supporters from near and far acclaimed the efforts of Neil Lennon’s side as they swept Kilmarnock aside to claim the SPL title with five matches left to play.

The SPL trophy won’t be handed over until the final match of the season at home to Hearts but that didn’t detract from the celebrations that had got underway from the moment Charlie Mulgrew’s header bulleted into the Kilmarnock net.

By the time the half-time whistle went there was no doubting the destination of the title as Mulgrew played a part in all four goals helping Glenn Loovens and Gary Hooper to find the net either side of his own double.

Supporters returning from Kilmarnock held a good natured huddle in Glasgow Central, copying the antics of their heroes who had held a mass huddle earlier on at Rugby Park.

George Square also witnessed a very public huddle as fans celebrated along the Gallowgate all the way to Celtic Park where the players were given a fantastic reception.
