After beating Hearts 3-0 last Saturday the Rangers boss warned that the next 72 hours would be critical for the club.
Following yesterday’s 3-0 defeat to Celtic the former Question of Sport favourite revealed that it’s now a day to day existence for his club.
Asked about liquidation on Radio Scotland McCoist admitted: “I would have to say that that looks more of a possibility now than it ever has.
“I don’t know where we will be in 24 hours, I don’t know where we’ll be in 48 hours. If I could give you an answer Chic you know that I would.
“It’s a real on-going worrying issue, I can’t organise pre-season training or games, I don’t know who my staff will be at the start of the season or what players I will have. It’s a shambles really.
“It’s not about me, it’s a far bigger issue, it’s our football club, it’s the livelihoof of the players, of the staff- it’s the instituation that our supporters have loved and watched for 140 years.
