Dylan McGeough Celtic newsCeltic midfielder Dylan McGeough has been named in the Scotland u-21 squad to face Italy on Tuesday at Easter Road.

The match comes the day after Celtic’s SFA Youth Cup Final against Dundee United or Queen of the South. With Paul George injured and Tony Watt suspended McGeough may be required by Celtic for the Hampden clash.

McGeough is expected to be given a run in Neil Lennon’s side over the last five games of the season and has been capped by Scotland at u-17 and u-19 level.

Loan Celt Lewis Toshney has also been named in the squad after impressing on loan at Kilmarnock.

Three of Celtic’s u-19 title winning squad are currently in Serbia on international duty.

John Herron, Mikey Miller and Marcus Fraser are on international duty in preparation for next season’s u-19 campaign. Joe Chalmers was named in the squad but missed out due to injury.

Scotland face Serbia today and on Thursday before returning to Glasgow with the Celtic trio preparing for Monday’s SFA Youth Cup Final against Queen of the South or Dundee United.
