Stewart Regan has vowed not to get involved in a mud slinging exercise with Sevco despite accusing the club of making undignified and irresponsible comments.
Ally McCoist led the criticism on Friday night when he claimed that there was a lack of leadership at the SFA shortly after Sevco were given conditional SFA membership.
The Ibrox boss also claimed that the SPL were pursuing a hostile agenda against his club but so far hasn’t been charged by the SFA for those comments.
“Ally’s one of the few people remaining at the club that the fans can associate with so he’s clearly going to try and defend the club’s position,” Regan told STV.
“Some of the comments that have been made by a number of individuals in recent weeks have been quite undignified and have been quite irresponsible at times.
“I think a number of comments have been made over recent weeks. I’m not prepared to go into individual comments, I think we’re all aware of things that have been said.
“I wish to rise above that. I don’t want dirty washing aired in public, I’ve said that on several occasions. I won’t get into that, what I will say is that we remain focused on doing what is in the best interests of Scottish football.”
Explaining the issue of temporary SFA membership Regan added: “I think when you’re looking at taking a new company back in the league, and accepting a new company as a member there are always going to be challenges.
“In this particular case, there were a series of charges relating to the oldco that were hanging over and that still needed to be considered.”

Regan is a sh***bag
There are lots of issues outstanding and this approach to mccoists outbursts is no different to preveious leniency shown him in recent times.
Let us not pretend here. Regan is incompetent. So are the rest of those in power at the sfa and spl.
But mccoist for some reason seems to get away with things time after time and this response from regan only highlights the fact that they are still bending over with the pants down for those connected to that club which used to be known as rangers. mccoist openly called some refs last year, cheats, yet he was not even warned about this. When he caused the fiasco with Lennon when we humbled them in the Scottish Cup , he walked away with “no case to answer” while Lennon, who only went in to shake the little snakes hand, was hammered with a lengthy suspension. I suspect mccoist has pictures of these guys in compromising situations or something because they let him, and terry butcher away with disgusting comments and accusations of bias last year, and we all know the connection there.
Regan is terrible and frankly, if a vote was held today among the clubs, he would be voted out. Scottish football still has a very untidy, dirty corrupt focus which needs to be addressed.

The National team is dead to me, anything with SFA on it will not recieve “one thin dime” if its “cash money” they let rule please boycott everything that is SFA.

i would love lennon or any spl manager just one of them.. tommorow or just before saturdays games. to take a swipe at the sfa..go on somebody have the baws to take this clown on .. just to prove who;s running who here;it certainly not the sfa.there is some heavy hands involved here; and thier investigations is being run with these heavy hands me thinks; all of this curruption and reagan the so called leader of oor fitba…cant be arsed..wtf..has ogilvie put the frightners on him or wit? reagan was probily hand picked with those people.low life the lot of them …
The only question that remains is . . .how deep does this corruption go? It does seem that this (as it now stands) cheating football club can do and say anything that they please in the full knowledge that they will not be held to account!
What does dead rangers have over the SFA? Who are REALLY running the football show in Scotland? The Orange Lodge? The Masonic Lodge? The M.O.D? The queen? The Scottish Secret Society for Sectarianism and Bigotry? Who? It certainly isn’t Stuart Regan that’s for sure and that has been categorically proved with breathtaking nincompoopery over the past few months. This ain’t over by a long shot!
