Overnight the first draft emerged detailing the deal to remove SPL titles, Scottish Cups and League Cups in exchange for no further scrutiny of the EBT scandal.
The latest draft details how to provide Rangers/Sevco with a First Division place but was dependent on the SFL clubs voting the deal through.
Despite extensive lobbying from Stewart Regan warning of the dangers of rejecting the deal the member clubs overwhelmingly rejected the deal despite the carrot of league reconstruction being thrown into the deal.
Regan and his SPL counterpart Neil Armageddon Doncaster went out on a limb to push the deal through and were clearly close to the authors of the various draft agreements.
As the spokesman for Sevco Green would be involved in the drafting of the ‘agreements’ with the final version only agreed two days before Sevco played Brechin City in the Ramsdens Cup.
Details of that deal have remained sketchy with Sevco given SFA membership without producing any audited accounts or making public disclosure of who their investors are.
With further details leaking out it seems that Regan and Doncaster will be forced into making a statement or where they stand and justifying their decision making process.
Until then the chronic lack of leadership within Scottish football will continue to undermine the game with only the intervention of UEFA likely to weed out the truth from behind the vested interests attempting to save their skin and remain onboard the gravy train.
