Lenny's critic gets hammered 5-0 by Barcelona

Gobby Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez jumped on the Bernd Schuster bandwagon then watched his team get pumped 5-0 by Barcelona!

Three goals in the last eleven minutes put the seal on another devastating Barca win with Tino Vilanova’s side scoring five goals away from home for the second week running.

In nine La Liga matches Barca have scored 29 goals with only a home draw to Real Madrid stopping them from having a 100% record for the season.

Looking ahead to the visit of Barca Jemez said: “I could use the same approach as Celtic, but personally I would be too ashamed to look fans in the eye. We would also get torn to pieces on the pitch. We have to believe we can win. We all know how difficult it is to beat Barca, but it’s not impossible.”

Jemez was ordered from the dug out in the 76th minute and complained that the game was being refereed by a dictatorship afterwards.

“You can not evict someone for doing absolutely nothing,” Jemez claimed on his dismissal.

“Here in our country we try to play, to create chances. We lacked a bit of accuracy, but the idea is to have chances.

“There comes a time when the game opens up and you have to take risks, when you don’t score you don’t care if you lose by two or four. Our plan was to take a little more risks.”

In Russia Spartak Moscow followed up their win over Benfica with a 2-0 victory over Mordovia Saransk while Benfica won 3-0 away to Gil Vicente.
