Green appointed Whyte as Sevco 5088 director

Hours after Sevco Scotland announced that Charles Green would be grilled at a board meeting tomorrow another bombshell has landed in the lap of the man from Yorkshire with big ‘ands.

According to a report from STV Green was the signatory for Craig Whyte’s election as a director of Sevco 5088- alongwith his close business associate Aiden Earley.

Green has been on the defensive over the last week ever since the former Motherwell-born billionaire started leaking details of the close relationship between Green and Whyte.

Having originally claimed that he bought out Whyte’s shareholding for £2 Green has been forced to respond to claims that he illegally transferred assets from Sevco 5088 to Sevco Scotland as well as a trail of financial transactions which bizarrely included payments made to the mother of Ibrox moneyman Imran Ahmed.

According to the STV report: “The directorial appointment forms, which have been filed several months late, show the signatures of the former Sheffield United chief executive, alongside those of Mr Whyte and Mr Earley. It is believed the forms were signed during a meeting in London on May 9, 2012, three days before Duff and Phelps signed an offer letter with Sevco 5088 in a £5.5m deal for the club’s assets.

“According to records at Companies House, Sevco 5088 was created as an off-the-shelf company by a Cardiff-based secretarial firm on March 29, over a month after Rangers were put into administration on February 14.

“The appointment forms for the company, which is registered to the address of London legal firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, were lodged with Companies House on Friday.

Companies House confirmed the documents had been accepted but had not yet been scanned in to be made available on its website.”

Further evidence of the links between Green and Whyte should concern the SFA who granted Sevco Scotland associate membership on the understanding that Whyte had no involvement in the new club.

Green has already admitted to telling Whyte what he wanted to know- if he treated SFA membership in the same manner Stewart Regan may have no other option than to suspend Sevco.

Earlier today Green had claimed that he was being subject to blackmail from his former business partner Whyte but the former billionaire quickly shot down that theiry.

Whyte told BBC Scotland: “Mr Green has publicly admitted defrauding me on the Sevco deal. I am seeking to put that right by taking legal action.

“This must be the first alleged blackmail in history where the person making the allegation has actually received money rather than the accused.

“Following through their bizarre logic, anyone who takes legal action against them is a blackmailer.”Charlie Green news

They really don`t seem to be the smartest bunch, the sevconians, do they? This on going saga has given me many a wee chuckle over the past while.

Green released a statement which didn’t actually deny it was his signature, I think we all conclude

    GUILTY AS SIN!!

  • OZ CELT says:

Sfa should have no choice other than to remove cheatcos membership as they have declared Whyte previously as being unfit ( ineligible ) to be on a board of a football club,it turns out Wyhte has been involved all along, the sfa and cheatco are absolutely shameless

Will be interesting to see how they ( sfa ) try and get out of this one

    • Mattabhoy says:

Oz Celt you know what will happen, the SFA will say they new nothing off it, and that will be ok. …. It was the company that did not tell the SFA not the football club….we’ve seen it all during the last year, every authority stood by them. from tell us they cheated but it wasn’t an advantage, so that’s alright. To telling us the company was liquidated not the club and keep (which wasn’t theirs) the history. Chico will get the sack, go back down south with a shit load of money, the blue knights will come in and take over……

      • OZ CELT says:

Possibly mate, but I’ve just got a gut feeling that cheatco might be about to get some sort of proper sanction served this time, granted I thought LNS would’ve ruled against them FFS,still can’t beleive that verdict, who knows?

One thing I do know is whatever punishment or sanction that eventually comes there way that there could be none more deserving than cheatco and its corporate charlatans

John Le Carre and John Grisham together couldn’t have come up with a plot this good.

You can just imagine the blurb for the film: “The Sevco Conspiracy. A sinister brotherhood plans world domination. But who is the puppet master? Who owns ra deeds? One little third division club, so many big liars.”

    • paranoidandroid says:

I should have added: Starring Roy Chubby Brown as Mr Green, Nookie the Bear as Mr white, and Boris Karloff as Campbell Ogilvie.

    • Andybhoy says:

More like ‘The Sevco Sting’ as this whole thing is looking more and more like a long con every day with Whyte, Green and Duff & Duffer as the conmen, the Ibrox hordes as the mark and the SFA and Scottish press as the loyal but dimwitted facilitators.

Whyte gains control of the club with someone else’s money, puts it into administration by bumping the taxman, then puts in place his own administrators Duff and Duffer. They then deliberately scare off any genuine bidders to clear the way for fellow cohort Green to step in as preferred bidder, he offers a derisory deal to creditors torpedoing any chance of a CVA which results in liquidation. Green and Whyte then set up Sevco 5088, Duff & Duffer then sell them the assets at a fraction of what they are worth.

Not only do they now own a 50,000 seater stadium the surrounding land and a training facility estimated at £14m for a mere £5.5m outlay, but with the help of the unsuspecting and dimwitted Rangers cheerleaders within the SFA and the Scottish press they then set up a new club where they milk the cash cow that is the Ibrox support who are so blinded by misguided bitterness and rage at everyone else that they choose to live in some sort of self imposed alternate reality where their club survived liquidation due to their saviour Charles Green and all their woes were not their own fault but the fault of everyone but them.

Well now reality is biting hard, the con is unravelling. Green tried to con his fellow conman only to be sucker-punched by his former cohort with the exposure of secret recordings and documentary evidence of collusion between them.

A far fetched, complex and clever plot-line that is possibly closer to fact than fiction than some people are willing to accept.

      Hail Hail.

      • paranoidandroid says:

What your saying makes a lot of sense and is probably the truth or very close to it.

The one thing I can’t decide though is whether the in-fighting and back-stabbing is part of the con or not. Are they really trying to screw each other or is it all part of a smokescreen to cover up the real action: establishing a debt-free newco that can masquerade as the oldco.

You have to wonder if they’re clever enough for that though, so let’s hope their greed and arrogance destroys sevco like it did that other club.

  • jaztecc says:

rankers have launched an independent review on chico and Imran, independant my arse a bunch of crooks the lot of them, probably cooking up another crime…robbing grannies of there pensions

  • Sweeney Hughes says:

Just to make sure everyone is aware, in 2005 oldco angers played a closed door game against Inter at the San Siro stadium, the only people present other than players, officials and technical staff(tv folk and so) were the oldco official party.
Exactly what the oldco official party consisted of is anyones (educated) guess, I would guess at sir david murray, board members and shareholders, a contingnt from the sfa, spl and sfl, selected Scottish journos and maybe some officers from Strathclydes finest.
During the television broadcast of this game racist sectarian singing was VERY CLEARLY heard, including ‘the sash’ and ‘the billy boys’, including the line ‘up to our knees in Fenian blood’.
When questions were asked sir david murray stood on the steps of the hunnery and promised ‘A FULL AND THOROGH INVESTIGATION’.
Oldco were left to investigate themselves.
Let’s be clear here, from the volume of chanting broadcast if the official party were 100 strong you would have to say it was very much all of them taking part.

To this day, EIGHT YEARS LATER, no-one, not the sfa, the spl, thesfl, Strathclyde police or one single solitary journalist has asked for the results of that ‘full and thorough (internal) investigation’.

This disgusting depraved incident was and is airbrushed from Scottish football history.

    Shamefull doesn’t come close.
