Neil Lennon Celtic news

Neil Lennon’s title winners quickly turned to twitter to share their enjoyment of the day with supporters.

Joe Ledley’s strike to put Celtic 2-0 up ensured that the party got underway with the captain for the day delighted to play a part in another flag day success after scoring twice in last season’s title clincher at Kilmarnock.

“Get in there!!!,” the Welshman tweeted. “Champions again buzzing for everyone at the club and for the fans. A couple of beers tonight I think.”

Manager Lennon was equally as pleased tweeting: “BOOOOOOOOOOM….fantastic feeling..thank you for all your support…players and fans were magnificent today.”

Man-of-the-match Kris Commons said: “Delighted with the result the performance and the outcome #champions#twoinarow.”

Midfielder Victor Wanyama was as laid back as ever tweeting: “Very happy to win my 2nd championship in a row thanks to our fans who have been with us for the worst and the best part of our season.”

Charlie Mulgrew kept it short and sweet with: “We’ve won the league again fly the flag.”

Dylan McGeough took a full part in the after match celebrations tweeting: “Buzzing that’s us champions AGAIN! Hope you’s all enjoy the celebrations tonight. Glasgow Celtic Champions.”

Showing a little more emotion was the number one Celt of twitter- Bishop Marc Crosas.

Distance hasn’t diluted the Catalan’s passion for the club as he celebrated the title success from Mexico while exchanging some banter with some detractors.

Alongside a picture of Neil Lennon taking a salute Crosas tweeted: “ALL TOGETHER NOW PLEASE: ?????GLASGOW CELTIC CHAMPIONS OH OHHHHH OH OHHHHH OH.”
