Charles GreenCharles Green has warned that the shadow of Craig Whyte could hang over Ibrox for more than a decade.

The former Chief Executive popped up on TalkSport this morning where he was given a warm welcome by Richard Keys and Andy Gray.

A day after Rangers International confirmed that they would robustly defend claims by Whyte over Murray Park and Ibrox Stadium, Green decided to speak out for the first time since walking away from his role as Chief Executive.

Just like the independent report from Pinsent Masons the key question of how the assets were transferred from Sevco 5088 to Sevco Scotland was avoided.

Speaking from his sprawling French castle he said: “I’ve always said, wot went on, we did to get the club secure. I’ve always said that Craig Whyte was not involved, we might be fighting Craig Whyte for the next 10 years- it’s just mind-blowing.

“But the reality is Rangers is secure, it’s moving forward, Walter’s announcement yesterday is a fantastic thing. I got Walter to join the board before I left, ‘e’s now w’ere I believe is ‘is rightful place as ‘he statesmen of t’ club. Walter is not the businessman obviously to run it, that’s a different job but that’s wot Rangers needed. ‘is safe ‘ands,

“I think that it’s great that the club is now moving forward, for me it’s not about Charles Green, it’s about Rangers, I know, w’en I publish my book everything will be in it. I’m just disappointed that I couldn’t ‘ave stayed to finish w’at I’d started. I ‘ad some great plans for the club and they are now in ashes.”

The Yorkshireman added: “W’at I did in the period of 12 months at Rangers was something that I’m proud of. I left because the club needed to move forward, there was constant, daily items of press and media about Craig Whyte and Rangers is never going to be able to move forward till that spectre was gone.

“I t’ink t’e authorities are investigating Mr Whyte for ot’er misdemeanours. It’s just something that ‘as to be brought to an end because otherwise this club, the fans and t’e institution that it is is going to be ‘ampered, fighting spurious claims for t’e next God knows ‘ow long and it’s not right.”

Looking at his own relationship with the Third Division champions Green added: “I never finished with Rangers, I got addicted, I got this, Andy Gray warmed me about it, if I can itch, ‘e ‘e ‘e ‘e’s been effected by it cos ‘e played there, I didn’t play but it does get ‘old of you. No, Rangers, I’m a one man club.”

It will go on for ten years only because the sfa are not prepared to do the right thing. Instead they continue to cver their own individual and collective butts due to their part in the corruption to begin with.

What they have to guard against is one person breaking away. If that happens the potential of others being exposed becomes a real threat.

This is why they have to stay united in their fight against truth and honesty.

The rangers – Sevco whatever are irrelevant and will sink again…we should be looking forwards & upwards not down in the depths to see what they are saying / doing.

We have MUCH bigger fish to fry.

    • paranoidandroid says:

The problem is though that sevco are not irrelevant. There are a lot of greedy, unscrupulous people involved with them, in the boardroom and at the SFA. If they some how keep sevco afloat until they get into the SPL, what’s going to happen then?

At the moment, a lot of greedy, unscrupulous people are learning that they can ignore the rules without suffering any consequences. They’re learning that they can cheat without anyone at the SFA or in the Scottish media raising an eyebrow. They’re learning that the SFA are desperate to have a successful rangers clone- regardless of what damage it does to Scottish football.

Unscrupulous, greedy people now know that they can cheat to make sevco successful- and they also know that they can make a lot of money by being in the CL. So they’re not going to stop cheating if they get to the SPL.

If this goes on unchallenged, the honest mistakes of the past will seem like nothing to what could happen in the future.

Once again, Charlie Green is mercilessly grilled by two truth-seeking MSM journalists.

If you listen carefully, you can hear him, sitting in the bowels of his empty French castle counting a pile of gold coins, chuckling to himself. “Mwha ha ha ha… Mwah ha ha ha…”

  • Sweeney Hughes says:

    Aye, Craigy Bhoys gold!

And if you listen even closer,Para, you can here the bould Craigy Bhoy plotting his revenge from the bowels of an old Hun bunker, binoculars trained through the slot in the three foot thick concrete walls of the gun turretnot only at the pretenders at fort asbestos, but through the wonders of his WWII special ops secret wrist watch, come compass, thermometer, explosive trip-wire device and all important concealed micro audio tape recorder, the SFA itself!

I really need to stop reading the p1$# stained alkys blog!
