Leaked document details Sevco 5088 claim on Green and Ahmad

Internet newcomer Charlotte Fakeovers has published a watershed document claiming to be the legal action from Sevco 5088 against Charles Green, Imran Ahmad and Rangers Football Club Limited (formerly Sevco Scotland Ltd).

The eight page document, apparently issued on December 12, lays out Sevco 5088’s claim to the club assets, Murray Park and Ibrox Stadium, prior to the share issue which allegedly raised £22m.

Charlotte Fakeovers has appeared recently on the Scottish Football Monitor website and opened up a twitter account today. The second tweet from that account links in to the document allegedly served on Green by Sevco 5088.

In less than an hour the new twitter account has attracted over 2,500 followers.

Rangers chairman Malcolm Murray ordered an independent enquiry into links between Green and Craig Whyte after claims surfaced that Green was the front man for Whyte as the club plunged into liquidation.

At the heart of the matter is the £5.5m value placed on Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park. Before and after the liquidation those same assets have been independently valued at between £60m-130m.

Today’s leaked document details Sevco 5088 claim for those assets which would have invalidated the share issue.

Publication of the document is likely to be followed by denials over it’s authenticity but further clouds the issue of just who owns the holding company that runs the football club.

Last summer the SFA were involved in detailed negotiations with Green before issuing him with associate membership and a gateway into league football.

The SFA have recently questioned Green on reports of his links with Whyte- who is barred from any role with any football club- but appear to be happy to sit back and await the outcome of the club’s own inquiry before deciding whether to withdraw the club’s associate membership of the SFA.
