Neil Lennon newsPay-to-view channel Premier Sports will provide live coverage of all four of Celtic’s pre-season matches in Germany.

The channel is available through Sky and will begin their coverage of the hoops on tour when Neil Lennon’s side face Sevastapol on Wednesday July 3 with a 6pm kick-off, Celtic Park time.

Last season Sevastapol won the Ukranian Second Division and will use the friendly with Celtic, to be played at Techno Markt Stadium in Fuersteinfeldbruck west of Munich.

After that Celtic take on Romanian side Cluf, who signed Gregory Tade from St Johnstone, on Saturday July 6 with a 5pm kick-off CPT.

Lennon’s side then face German opponents on July 9 when they visit Greuther Furth who play in green and white hoops. The Second Division side are billing the match as Shamrocks v Shamrocks on their website.

The final match in Germany is against Union Berlin on July 12 at the Stadion an der Alten in Berlin with a 6.15pm CPT kick-off, Union Berlin will face Dundee United five days earlier.

On the park Lennon will be pleased to have a fully rested and fit again Scott Brown available for selection.

Last season was badly disrupted by injury for the midfielder but he showed his class and experience at Hampden with a true captain’s role in the 3-0 Scottish Cup Final win over Hibs.

“I’m feeling good just now which is easy to say on my first day back but hopefully it will continue,” Brown said.

“If you worry about things too much it starts to play with your mind and your emotions but I’m quite positive anyway. I go out and give everything I’ve got in training and games.

“Now and then last season I had to hold back from tackles. There were times when I knew I couldn’t get there to make the tackle.

“Instead of taking a chance of winning the ball I knew I had to sit back and wait for the player to come towards me with it.

“That’s not my game but hopefully now I can go back to my good old ways, of always trying to get hold of the ball. I knew I wasn’t 100 per cent fit for some games last season. I had to know how far I could push my body.”

Celtic’s Development side have matches arranged on July 6 at Inverness Clach, July 18 Longford Town and July 21 away to Cork City.
