Former Rangers ‘keeper Allan McGregor has hit out at supporters who have accused him of disloyalty after quitting Ibrox.
McGregor walked away from the club when it went into liquidation and spent a season with Besiktas before joining Hull City in the summer.
Alongwith Steven Naismith the keeper has been targeted for abuse from fans who have fallen for the line pedalled by Charles Green and Ally McCoist that the one time heroes cashed in on the club going into liquidation.
Green’s attempt to sue the players for breach of contract has floundered but with the club in denial over their downfall McGregor and others have found themselves bearing the brunt of the fans frustrations.
Using his twitter account @therealgreegsy1 to respond McGregor said: “If only yous knew, would love to tell the script , all these people saying yous left , walked away etc… Not got a scooby
“Right for a start, for those people that thought and still think I left to ‘line my pockets’ if yous are gambling people , for every penny I Earn more than I would have at rangers plus a a testimonial , for every penny I earn more I’ll give double to the club , and for every penny Less , for any takers, yous give me it?”
Challenged to go into detail the Scotland keeper replied with: “Would tell you but press scumbags all over this so can’t.”
McGregor and others such as Kyle Lafferty, Steven Whittaker and Naismith were greeted as heroes when they agreed to pay cuts of 75% in March 2012 in order to see the club through until the end of the season and retain the jobs and wages of the tea-lady and non playing staff.
When Rangers went into liquidation the assets were transferred to Sevco 5088 with Ally McCoist, Lee McCulloch, Lee Wallace and Neil Alexander transferring their contracts over to the new club.
Caros Bocanegra, Dorin Goian and Kirk Broadfoot also transferred their contracts over but were then paid to leave. Alexander is in dispute with the club over unpaid bonuses after refusing to take a pay cut when his contract expired in June 2013.
It’s highly unlikely that ‘the script’ as McGregor put it about the downfall of the club will be revealed with no sign of a report from BDO who started their investigations 18 months ago into the liquidation.

Now he fears 10 in a row.
He won’t be their when we do it,so it
shouldn’t worry him.
All the best for the Pars, tonight.A club and
fans who did everything to avoid liquidation. Now out of administration, they should be PROUD of themselves.
Unlike the deid club, who owed everybody
and blamed everybody for their self – inflicted turmoils.

While the sfa continue to cocoon sevco,
do you honestly believe we will ever get,
the truth, the whole truth and nothing but
the truth ?
Peter.
I think judge bishops transparency approach with no anonymity is promising.
Oldco are likely to be found guilty.
It is likely BDO are being thorough to allow no wriggle room.
Lack of funds and no credit facility will bring the inevitable.although the newnewco will say they are the same club.
A bit like home style in wishaw thinks its actually Woolworths.
Ally and his band . well that’s between him and the Indian rubber company.might be an idea to buy some shares.
