New liquidation threat to Hearts

Tynecastle ParkDays after clearing the first step towards achieving a CVA Hearts are back in danger of liquidation.

On Friday the Foundation of Hearts made the first move towards taking the club out of administration by putting forward a CVA.

The whole issue will be decided by Lithuanian companies Ukio Bankas and UBIG who were previously owned by Vladmir Romanov.

With those companies also in administration the picture is clouded with one of the original bidders for Hearts, who was also involved in the Club 9 bid to buy Rangers prior to liquidation, Bob Jamieson, making contact with Ukio Bankas over their Hearts shareholding.

If Jamieson buys up that shareholding he will be in a position to dictate the terms of the CVA- or reject the proposal plunging the club into crisis while owning a stake in Tynecastle.

Jamieson’s move was acknowledged by Bryan Jackson of BDO at the weekend with the Foundation of Hearts aware of the threat to their takeover plans.

“We would urge any third party who is attempting to place an unfunded and fanciful rival bid to reflect on the potential damage this could do to the CVA process,” a Foundation of Hearts spokesperson told the Edinburgh Evening News..

“This is too important to the future of Heart of Midlothian to have a Walter Mitty character destabilise the progress of getting the club out of administration.”

After being hammered 7-0 by Celtic on Sunday Hearts boss Gary Locke claimed that it was unfair on his young players to be without experienced and higher paid team-mates.

On Saturday Hearts travel to face Dundee United at Tannadice fearing a similar scoreline.

The walter mitty bluenose is trying to make a fast buck.
He wants to sell the assets or lease back
    tynecastle to the federation.
What a low life.He wants to profit out of
    the hearts fans misery.Typical Hun.
Now,as Celtic fans we are no lovers of
    hearts.

But,you have to say, they have done more
to try and save their club, than the Huns
    ever did.
8,000 direct debits every month has got to
    be admied.

I hope they fight off, this blue knight parasite.

Agree Jamieson wanted in to Sevco to buy their assets for a £ or going rate at time and then sell IPox off. Ater Hearts to turn Tynecastle into flats…Shame on these gold diggers. No lover of Hearts but part of a wider community

Whilst the wee Huns have tried harder to survive than the other Huns I for one will laugh if they go fully tits up. They are both piles of shite.

The sooner they go the way of the Sevco the better. Abhorrent people. Don’t you remember the filth singing “you’re not breathing anymore” as a Celtic fan was carried out on a stretcher? Never forget what they are.

  • Joe says:

Liquidation? They didn’t look too fluid on Sunday!
