The Ibrox mudslinging has intensified today with Dave King calling for a season ticket boycott and chairman David Somers denying a newspaper report that Mr King had offered a £1m interest free loan.
Mr King followed up his claim with a detailed statement outlining his fear of Celtic winning ten-in-a-row which is sure to appeal to the emotions of Sevco fans.
The man described in court as a shameless and glib liar by a South African judge has urged supporters to withhold season ticket funds with the monies placed in a trust to be released game by game.
As ever with Mr King these is no detail in his plans with two different supporter groups already planning to buy up shares to take control of the club.
Among the points raised by the shameless and glib liar he asks if the board can give an undertaking that the club is a going concern to complete the 14/15 season and asks if the board can guarantee that next season’s season ticket money isn’t used to settle debt and loans incurred before the start of the new season.
Rather than address those points Mr Somers has challenged the claim that Mr King offered £1m interest free at the same time as the club took out a loan at 32% APR  from Laxey Partners.
Somers said: “THE Scottish Sun has stated that the Board of Rangers International Football Club has been offered an interest free loan by Mr Dave King. I can confirm that this is untrue.
“I have been in email correspondence with Mr King and suggested that, even though he is not a current shareholder, I would be interested in hearing any proposals he might have. Mr King replied and indicated a willingness to consider participating in any future equity issue that the Club might undertake.”
With Charles Green set to appear as a witness in Imran Ahmad’s claim for unpaid bonuses of £650,000 the tensions around Ibrox are sure to intensify with more mud slinging assured.
The size of that guys head, god almighty it must have its own weather system can you imagine the size of his pillow, is that where all the blow hard stories are coming from inside that enormous cranium ?
The tax crook says he wont invest in the rangers because he wont line the pockets of the dodgy penny share merchants!.
Does he include sleekit and cardigan in that statement.
