Ronny Deila won’t be losing any sleep over losing players during the remainder of the transfer window.
Fraser Forster and Virgil van Dijk seem certain to leave Celtic before the month is out with speculation linking Adam Matthews and Kris Commons with teams in England.
So far Deila has only brought in Craig Gordon and Jo Inge Berget on loan as he attempts to bring his own stamp to the squad he inherited from Neil Lennon.
Overturning a 4-1 deficit against Legia Warsaw is the immediate priority but with vultures circling Delia isn’t worried about losing any of his players.
“It’s possible, you never know,” he responded to the most recent speculation. “But that’s another thing I don’t think is a problem. If some are leaving then, OK, you need to get some in to replace them.
“That’s how football clubs work and I have never been to a club which hasn’t lost players but I will also get some players in- then you can get the squad closer to what you want.”

“If we are out and we have to go into the Europa League it’s not the end of the world,” he claimed. “I can’t understand why people would think that.
“I understand that people went crazy about the performance last week because it was too much but losing games, that happens. It’s all about what you learn from it. It’s hard coming in and performing a miracle in four weeks. I need time like everyone else.”
