Charles GreenWacky former Sevco chief Charles Green has lined up an 84-year-old billionaire to save the crisis club from administration.

Green ‘quit’ Ibrox in disgrace in April 2013 after repeated racist comments but most observers believe that the big ‘anded, big mouthed Yorkshireman has never been far from the decision making process.

With season ticket money down by 50% and plans for a share issue blown out the water Green is ready to give the club a £10m loan in return for security over Murray Park.

Whether Sevco own Murray Park is up for debate but with Green around fiction becomes fact as the gullible fans shell out for season-tickets after getting a cup of tea, high on stories about adidas kit deals, commercial link ups with the Dallas Cowboys and engaging with the 500 million worldwide fan base.

Green also told the hard of thinking that ‘e bought the ‘istory of the liquidated club’.

“I’ve got a number of people ready to invest in Rangers,” Green told the unquestioning BBC with the name of George Soros slipped in off the record.

Wary of the off the radar wealth of Craigy Whyte, it’s also pointed out that Soros is the 26th richest man on the planet according to the latest Forbes rich list.

Green added: “I’ve told people this is a great club and a great opportunity. It’s one of the world’s biggest brands in terms of football.

“I don’t want to go back to Rangers, I left unhappy last year and know it wouldn’t be right to go back. ‘owever, to see where the club is now is a disaster.”

Green’s ‘comeback’ has already been attacked by the rebel Union of Fans group with the castle owning Yorkshireman scathing in his criticism of the supporter groups.

“Fans need to unite, one week it’s the Sons of Struth and then the Union of Fans – there is no union of fans,” he stated.

“I’d love to see all the fans unite and ‘ate me – at least then they’d be united. It’s a disjointed fan base and someone needs to stand up and say it ‘ow it is.

“Raising cash is what I do. It’s what I’ve done for 30 years and it’s all I do. What is important is that the club is saved. If the club doesn’t raise cash then it won’t be able to continue to trade.

“If some fans would rather the club goes back into administration then they are not real fans. Sit and wait and see what ‘appens – if I don’t raise the cash then that’s it but if I do the club will be stronger.”

Green has claimed that he will offer 20p per share to takeover the club or a £10m loan at 5% interest with security taken against the state-of-the-art Murray Park academy to the stars of the future.
