gazeboRaith Rovers have refused to hand tickets to Sevco for the February 20 clash between the two sides at Starks Park.

With no sign that the January payroll will be met by the Ibrox side Raith are concerned that they might never see the ticket money for the glamour clash between the two sides.

In 2012 when Rangers went into administration the Ibrox side held on to ticket money owed to Dunfermline and Dundee United while the good life continued at Ibrox with only two redundancies under Duff and Phelps.

Dunfermline and Dundee United joined the face painters, newsagents, taxi companies, florists, HMRC, Police Scotland and hundreds of others on the creditors list.

With those fears vivid Sevco fans will have to buy tickets for the Starks Park match direct from Raith.

This development comes after Ibrox director Sandy Easdale, who served a prison sentence in the nineties for VAT fraud, has appealed for calm after online threats were made against the Renfrewshire based tycoon.

In a statement to the BBC Mr Easdale said: “I have received several threats that are now in the hands of the authorities and I am confident that Police Scotland will get to the bottom of this.

“I appreciate that feelings are running high but I would like to make an appeal for calm.

“This sort of behaviour is not in the best interests of the club, its shareholders or its true supporters.

“People are entitled to air their views but I hope that all parties will agree that violence and intimidation are unacceptable. All I want to see is the best possible outcome for Rangers.”

Meanwhile Honduran international ace Arnie Peralta has negotiated a pay off to quit Ibrox with Nicholas Law and Nicholas Clark in talks to get out of Dodge.
