green-twitter hi Kris Commons summed up the anger of the Celtic support as he picked up a yellow card from referee Ivan Kruzliak after the final whistle in the 1-0 defeat from Inter Milan.

Kruzliak ignored an early penalty claim from the hoops when Stuart Armstrong was sent tumbling in the box then produced two yellow cards to Virgil van Dijk to further reduce Celtic’s chances.

Four other Celtic players were booked with the referee seen racing towards Commons after the final whistle with a yellow card as the midfielder continued his verbal attack on the official.

Hoops fan DaniH07 tweeted: “Love @kcommons15 should have just punched the ref!!”

Berryhoopter added: “I would have took a red for what I would have said to that prick!! Well done @kcommons15.”

Scotland midfielder Barry Bannon joined in with: “That ref has beat Celtic Tonite it’s a disgrace so 1 sided in his decisions.”

Celtic boss Ronny Deila was more measured with his criticism saying: “He had a bad day at work. If I had as bad a day we would have lost five or six zero.

“It’s a very disappointed gang of players that are in my dressing room, I feel very sorry for them but also very proud.”

Back on twitter Commowealth boxer Lomalito Moala tweeted: “Inter need a ref on their team because they can’t beat a real good hard honest team. It’s like every Italian team has a helping hand…

CelticBob1967 summed things up with: “Who never got booked. Scandalous performance from corrupt ref!

Freddi Guarin’s goal in the 87th minute gave Inter Milan a 4-3 win on aggregate.
