In less than twenty four hours time we’ll know the winners of this season’s Champions League- will it be Barcelona or a dreaded victory for ‘back-from-the dead’ Juventus.

Both sides have played at Celtic Park in the last three seasons- and left after making very different impressions.

In November 2012, as Celtic set off into their 125th year, Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt provided the club with it’s most memorable moment in a decade. Like Seville it was a case of why weren’t you there if you never made it to Celtic Park.

Barca put on an impressive display but found themselves up against Neil Lennon’s side at their very strongest with unforgettable memories cast from the Green Brigade display through to Watt’s dramatic goal.

Three months later the Turin tag-team of wrestlers arrived in town and left a very different impression as they raced to a 3-0 win in a game that descended into farce as every trick in the book was deployed to prevent Celtic from getting a sniff of goal.

I doubt if there will be any Celtic fans wishing Juve well, outwith their own support there is little backing for them across Italy with none of the charisma of tomorrow night’s opponents.

Both teams have arrived in Berlin having secured their domestic leagues and cups in impressive campaigns and know that only 90 minutes (plus potential extra-time and penalty-kicks) stand in the way of continental glory. The clash will see Massimiliano Allegri and Pep Guardiola face off in Berlin’s Olympiastadion and will throw up some interesting duels between the likes of Lionel Messi and Giorgio Chiellini and Carlos Tevez and Gerard Pique.

The Catalans are widely seen as favourites to lift the iconic trophy, but Juve are by no means out of the running after dispatching of Real Madrid in the semi-finals to ruin any hopes of a Clasico bout on the biggest stage.

The crunch match kicks off at 19:45 Celtic Park Time and we at Football FanCast will be providing updates and commentary in our Live Blog in association with William Hill.

Join in the chat, debate and banter on the blog knowing that whoever wins will be following in the footsteps of the Lisbon Lions- the first winners of the trophy that all of European football s.
