Hearts boss launches incredible attack on Willie Collum

Robbie Neilson launched an astonishing attack on Willie Collum after Hearts lost 3-2 away to Hamilton Accies.

Callum Paterson’s 80th minute red card sparked the rant with the Edinburgh side losing two goals after going down to 10 men to surrender their 100% record and top spot to Celtic.

Neilson refused to name Collum during his after match interview with the BBC but can expect to hear from the SFA for his scathing attack on the match referee.

The game has been ruined by a decision that is not a sending-off,” the Hearts boss stated. “We are sitting 2-1 up and we get a red card against us that I don’t think is a red card and it totally changed the flow of the game.

“We actually practised during the week going down to 10 men because of the environment we’re coming to and the officials who are taking the game and we have to do that.

“In the recent past, the static is against the officials have shown that there’s a lot of red cards against us so we have to prepare for it. The next time we get these officials, we will again train with 10 men.”

Neilson stated that he would be contacting John Fleming, the SFA’s head of refereeing, tonight and had held previous conversions with Fleming over Collum’s performances.

In 2010 Scottish referees went on strike for no apparent reason, the reaction of the SFA to Neilson’s outburst will be keenly followed.

Ali Crawford and Jesus Tena scored after Hearts went down to 10 men with seven minutes of stoppage time played.
