Furious Warbo slams Dallas

Furious Mark Warburton launched a blistering attack on Andrew Dallas despite watching Sevco beat Livingston to clinch a place in the last four of the Petrofac Training Cup.

Warbo, who used to work as a city trader, regularly grafting from 6am to 11pm five days a week in-between drawing up plans to become a soccer coach, was unhappy about the lack of protection given to his stars during last night’s 1-0 win over Livingston.

Ibrox assistant Dave Weir was lectured by Dallas during the second half but Warbo wants to have more communication with officials.

Talented players do need some protection,” bleated the Ibrox supremo. “I’m not saying special treatment but look after them. Some of the tackles were inappropriate.

The referee didn’t say a lot to me and Davie which, again, is frustrating. We have to improve communications between us – and I mean managers and coaches – and officials. It’s important to get it right.

We want games to be entertaining and for fans to enjoy it. Nathan’s one of those players who gets you off your seat. You pay your money to watch people like Nathan Oduwa. He was asking for some better protection.

It’s a challenge for him and he’ll need to learn to deal with it. It’s part of his learning and development. He’ll find a solution to it but right now it’s more than frustrating for him.”

After the euphoria at the start of the season it seems that the impeding financial crisis at the club is starting to effect the players.

With no sign of further loans, no share trading platform and no sign of audited accounts for the year to June 2015, which includes four months of the Dave King revolution, there are fears that there will be no Annual General Meeting this year.

Mike Ashley’s £5m loan from January remains unpaid with the Sports Direct owner holding security over Murray Park, Edmiston House and the iconic Albion Car Park as well as the clubs intellectual rights.

Warbo is hopeful of completing a deal to sign John Eustace in the next 48 hours.
