uefaThe Dutch football association (KNVB) have banned FC Twente from playing in Europe for the next three seasons due to licence breaches.

Twente have been punished for deliberately misleading the KNVB about funding and financing from a third party, the Maltese based Doyen Sports Investments Group.

In 2011 despite having an overdue tax payment of £6m the SFA licensed Rangers (IL) to play in the qualifiers for the Champions League where they lost to Malmo.

A group of Celtic shareholders have raised the matter with the SFA but have yet to be given an explanation. Football administration expert Andrew Dickson submitted the licence application despite the tax demand (from the wee tax case) being overdue on June 30. While ignoring the tax demand Ally McCoist went on a spending spree as well as awarding new contracts to Steve Davis, Steven Whittaker and Allan McGregor.

Wary of UEFA and FIFA’s view on third party ownership the KNVB have blocked Twente’s prospects of playing in European competitions and hit the club with a fine of 45,000 euros. More importantly their current licence could be revoked if they fail to fully co-operate with the probe into the role of Doyen Sports Investment.

The KNVB said the punishment follows Twente’s failure to reveal full details of a third-party ownership contract with Malta-based Doyen Sports Investments.

FIFA has banned third-party ownership as a threat to the game’s integrity because investors force transfers to make a profit.

The Football Leaks website last month published a contract between Twente and Doyen in which Doyen agreed to pay Twente 5 million euros for between 10 and 50 percent of the transfer fee rights for seven players. The deal was signed in 2014, before FIFA outlawed third-party ownership.

The KNVB said the sanctions were imposed by its licensing committee. The association also is sending Twente’s dealings with Doyen Sports to the KNVB prosecutor and to FIFA.

When are Urfa going to deal with the blatant corruption going on in the Country..And it won’t be before time..Come on UEFA get the finger out

Nothing will happen to Rangers (I) the SFA and SPFL top brass will do everything they can to ensure that. Scotland is perverse when it comes to football, there will be no real justice.

Enough of this crap. The RFC licence thingy is straightforward. A fraudulent application was made by the club and signed off by the SFA who knew fine well that tax was outstanding.

Come on Celtic, call in Police Scotland now.

Criminality is involved here, those involved have to be identified and brought to justice.

With each passing day it’s less likely that I will ever watch a live SPFL game in Scotland again………probably after reading Milne ‘ s time to move on and forget rhetoric thousands of Dons supporters will be making the same decision.

Our game is corrupted. The football authorities have been complicit and colluded in protecting one club who have lied, cheated, shredded documentation, for a period of over 10 years.

That’s what they do, that’s their modus operandi. If the police get involved in the Rangers Euro licence issue someone will be going to jail because a fraud has been perpetrated……….no wonder the SFA won’t reply to Celtic ‘ s lawyers, because they can’t.

Several SFA/SPFL officials will currently be in the bunker hands over eyes, ear plugs in, deflector shields full on, humming la la la……….hoping it’s all going to go away.

Ashley, for all we may not like his business methods, is about to do what our own club’s have failed to do.

Exposing the SFA in court, the relationship with Rangers, the placemen at Hampden, the conflicted employees……….hopefully Ash will be playing his no 1 QC in Edinburgh.

Bear in mind being questioned in court by some sharp QC was not in the job spec for those senior employees at the SFA/SPFL. Giving evidence under oath is likely to be a trying experience………hell mend them, they deserve everything coming their way.

PS. I’m presuming Darryl Broadfoot is no longer part of the SFA set up.

Time was if you cast even the remotely critical comment on his employer’s Darryl would be gearing up with a pre emptive strike by the SFA ‘ S legal bods.

Changed days indeed, the boot’s on the other foot, oh what fun.

It was the Dutch FA that banned them, which means it’ll have to be the SFA that bans Sevco, nothing will happen. FFS they even let Chuckles Green investigate themselves, and where happy with the outcome. Corrupt to the core.
