Luis Suarez completed the cheekiest hat-trick of his career during Barcelona’s 6-1 win over Celta Vigo at the Nou Camp.
Having scored two of the goals to put Barca 3-1 in front a penalty presented the former Liverpool striker with the chance to claim the match ball.
Lionel Messi wasn’t going to give up his job as penalty taker but cheekily touched the ball to his right with Suarez racing onto the ball and smashing home his hat-trick.
The goal came during a four goals in fifteen minutes spell with Neymar completing the South American connection that tormented Celta.
Tonight’s win puts Barca three points ahead of Atletico Madrid with a game in hand with Real in third place a further point behind. In 13 La Liga matches at the Nou Camp the home fans have enjoyed 42 goals with nine conceded.
Earlier in the season Barca had lost 4-1 away to Celta but there was never any prospect of a repeat for John Guidetti’s side.

Speaking ahead of the match Barca boss Luis Enrique said: “Celta always make life difficult for us. They’re the only team who have beaten us twice [since his arrival].
“They play a very pleasing brand of football, which I enjoy watching on TV, and are dangerous rivals. They’re bold, brave, daring, press high and try to dominate in all aspects of the game.
“Although they have significant injuries, the coach’s philosophy shines through the squad, which is to have the ball. You’ll see a great game, but it’ll involve much difficulty
With Neymar, Messi and Suarez all on top form Barca are on course to repeat last season’s successes by retaining the domestic title and Champions League.
