The Ronny Roar returned today after Celtic’s dramatic late winner away to Kilmarnock.
It took a 90th minute goal from Tom Rogic to shake off the homeside and ensure that Celtic remain on top of the Premiership going into the international break.
Celtic toiled throughout the match but with stoppage time beckoning substitute Rogic released an unstoppable 25 yard drive that found the top corner of Jamie McDonald’s net.
While the Celtic players celebrated in front of the visiting support Deila was jumping up and down the touchline.
At the final whistle Deila raced onto the pitch to celebrate with his players before setting off on the Ronny Roar which was abandoned earlier this season.
As the Sky Sports cameras zoomed in on the hoops boss he let his feelings slip over as he roared ‘Yes, yes, f****ng yes’ to the delighted visiting support.
The win puts Celtic four points ahead of Aberdeen with Derek McInnes’ side in action at Motherwell.
With eight matches left to play Celtic remain in the driving seat with trips to Motherwell and Dundee either side of hosting Hearts before the split.
Mark McGhee had suggested that Motherwell may request a postponement of the match due to a virus through the club.
No request was made to have the match postponed with McGhee making three changes to his side for the visit of Aberdeen.
Celtic’s win wasn’t without cost with Kieran Tierney picking up a first half foot injury that saw Dedryck Boyata come on before the interval to replace the teenager.
