Celtic signed off another title winning season with 7-0 win over Motherwell at Celtic Park.
There was a carnival atmosphere in the stadium as the hoops faithful gathered to celebrate another title delivered despite the handicap of paying HMRC on time and in full while declaring full details of player contracts to the SFA and SPFL.
With Aberdeen losing at home to Ross County it meant that Ronny Deila signed off with a 15 point winning margin over Derek McInnes side.
The home support have often been left disappointed by their side this season but there was no complaints today with the biggest cheer reserved for the seventh goal scored by Jack Aitchison.
At the age of 16 years and 71 days Aitchison replaced Thomas Rogic in the 75th minute and took all of 120 seconds to net his first goal- becoming the seventh scorer of the day.
Aitchison replaces Mark Fotheringham in the record books as Celtic’s youngest ever debutant and also becomes the youngest ever scorer for the club.
It was another teenager that got the ball rolling with Kieran Tierney opening the scoring in the 21st minute with Rogic and Mikael Lustig adding to the scoreline before the half hour mark.
There was another scoring burst just before the hour mark with Stuart Armstrong, Patrick Roberts and Ryan Christie finding the net.
Aitchison completed the scoring in the 77th minute with the Fir Park side grateful to escape without any further losses as Celtic took the title once again.
