Patrick Roberts kicked off Celtic’s title party with a fourth minute goal against Aberdeen.
Picking up on the goal that he scored at Tynecastle the on loan Manchester City kid collected the ball on the right touchline, cut inside on a diagonal run then slammed an unstoppable shot past Adam Collin from 25 yards out.
Twelve minutes later Roberts doubled Celtic’s lead drilling home a low shot from a Leigh Griffiths pass.

Before the match Roberts said: “We had a very good win last week against Hearts which was an important game and we want to wrap up the league this weekend.
“You don’t want to get beat by the opposition you have been vying for the title with so there will be more incentive to win on Sunday.”

Looking at the change of manager coming in the close season he added: “At Fulham I had four new managers. They come and go and it’s part and parcel of football and whoever I have to impress I will try and do that.
“The manager comes in and he will have players they like and they will bring in their own players and if you are already here you have to make sure they like you as well and then you can build a relationship with them.
“Some managers might prefer me more than others, but you can’t worry about that. The club picks the manager and you have to work yourself into the team under him.”
“I have always played the way I have since I was a little boy, but if the manager comes in and says he wants to improve you then I’m more than happy to listen.
“Improving myself is key, so any manager willing to help me is a good thing so I’m always willing to change things.”
