Celtic fans reacted with joy to the BetFred Cup draw that paired them with Sevco for a place in the Hampden final.
Less than a fortnight after demolishing Mark Warburton’s side in the SPFL the two clubs came out of the hat together with Aberdeen meeting Morton in the other tie.
Chris Sutton helped make the draw with more than a few fans believing that there was a smirk on his face as the Glasgow teams were paired together.
The build up will probably start now for the match which will be played on October 22 or 23 with the latter date, a Sunday likely to be chosen.
With the 5-1 hammering fresh in their mind Celtic fans are looking forward to another derby collision which falls in the middle of the hoops Champions League campaign.
