“David Moyes was heavily criticised, Louis van Gaal was heavily criticised, what has changed?” Sutton asked on BT Sport.
“When you look at the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City and Tottenham, they are miles ahead of Manchester United.”
With Wayne Rooney drifting out the picture and no fireworks coming from Paul Pogba or Zlatan Ibrahimovic it looks like being a cold winter of discontent up north for the not so Special One.
